On the Road, Day 4, 07/07/18

Moving day.  We checked out of our hotel, took an Uber to the train station, picked up our rental car, and began our four hour drive to Tuscany.  Milan is an interesting place.  We walked where the Romans walked, and our Fitbits showed where we had walked over 19,000 steps yesterday.  If you come to Milan, be prepared to walk.
We had an uneventful trip to our village, Marciano delle Chiana.  We have booked a very nice cottage to stay in for a week. The name of the cottage is La Colonica.  It has two master suite bedrooms and sits on a secluded plot of land with an olive grove in the back yard with a great view of the mountain range to our east.  We went to a nearby grocery store and bought necessary supplies for our stay.  Assorted cheeses, breads, croissants, coffee, etc...
We had a great meal (all our meals have been great) at a little Italian restaurant near here in the walled medeviel village Lucignano.  The restaurant was Il Goccino.  If your travels take take you here, eat at this restaurant.
Tomorrow we start exploring Tuscany.
