We had an uneventful trip over.  There are not many pictures, because we were asleep.  We arrived at the Mildenhall AFB around 0900, after an 8 hour flight from Birmingham.  Once we cleared customs, got some pounds from the ATM, we took a taxi to ELY to board a train to London.  We checked into the Hilton Hotel and were upgraded to the Executive level.  A very pleasant surprise.  After a hot shower, we are ready to start touring.  Weather is very nice, 78 degrees and sunny.

Did London Bridge fall down?  Are the Crown Jewels really in the Tower of London?  Does Big Ben tell the correct time?  Find out the answer to these questions and more, when you join Linda and myself on our journey to the home of our ancestors, the United Kingdom.  When I finished this post, we are headed for Birmingham, to board a KC135 Tanker for our non stop to Mildenhall RAF in the UK.  Unsure when or how we will return.
