Juneau Harbor View Tender, ship to shore Whale tail Whale Ocean View from Jamie & Jean's Room $$$$$$$ of Halibut Wild Flower Larry 7 Pat Linda Icy Point Strait....zip lining, Halibut fishing, whale watching...these are things to do here.  Every one of our group went in different directions.  Larry &  I went Halibut fishing.  We caught 1 Halibut apiece.  When we finished, they filleted the fish for shipping back to Alabama.  Total cost for 15 lbs of Halibut will be in the neighborhood of $135.00 per pound.  Should be some good eating.  Johnny, Jan, Linda, Pat , Dave and Jane went on the zip line.  It took 45 minutes to get up there, then 90 seconds to get to the bottom.  Cost, approx $2.00 per second...a little more than "a thrill a minute".  Every one else went whale watching.  I just hope they did not find a whale bigger than the boat.  Jamie and Jean spent their time viewing the scenery from their cabin window (picture included).

Amtrak 510 Seattle to Vancouver, Canada  We left Seattle around 0740 this morning for a 4 hour train ride to Vancouver.  It was kind of like taking an inland passage trip by train.  We had a nice breakfast in the dining car and settled back for the view, one of the trip highlights.  Tomorrow we board the ship around 11:00.  Pictures posted here were taken from our seats. End of the line...Vancouver

Pike Market We had a good day in Seattle.  Weather was very nice, low 70's, sunshine.  What is Seattle without the Pike Market, the Space Needle, monorail, Starbucks Coffee, the Waterfront and good seafood?  Checked those blocks.  Back in the hotel now, watching the Olympics.  Tomorrow a train ride on Amtrak to Vancouver.  We will join our compatriots tomorrow and continue on our adventure.  Did I mention the weather is delightful?
