Bavarian Holiday 04-30-2014

Trains, Cars, Taxis, Buses, horse drawn wagon, and walking...These are our methods of travel today..my  pedometer read 16432 steps.

A light rain today, visit to Zugspitz postponed until tomorrow.  Plan B..we drove to Fussen and Larry and Pat toured Schloss Neuschwanstein (the Cinderella Castle).  Linda and I went into Fussen for lunch.  Afterwards we met Larry & Pat, returned to Grainau, and then took a train to Garmish for dinner. Another great day in the Alps..

A Day in Germany Continues Part II

As was stated earlier, our plans were changed but we still had a great day. The clouds stated and a little light rain fell from the heavens.  Since the top of Germany wasn't happening for us today, our tour guides Jerry & Linda (my brother & sister-in-law) developed a change in plans.  They took us to Schloss Neuschwanstein (Cinderella Castle) for Pat and me to tour. Jerry & Linda had already did the tour so they visited  one of the local villages.  Here are some pictures at the castle. Our ride to the Castle from the parking area.
