Sound of Music, Day 6

We traveled to Berchetsgaden to tour the "Eagles Nest", Hitlers private mountain top retreat.  This was a gift to him from his political party,  It was constructed at a cost then of 30,000,000 reichsmarks. (Today's dollars about  $200 million)

A Day in Germany Continues Part II

As was stated earlier, our plans were changed but we still had a great day. The clouds stated and a little light rain fell from the heavens.  Since the top of Germany wasn't happening for us today, our tour guides Jerry & Linda (my brother & sister-in-law) developed a change in plans.  They took us to Schloss Neuschwanstein (Cinderella Castle) for Pat and me to tour.
