Ruins, Ruins, .......

The Colosseum is colossal.  The Roman Forum is ruined.  If it is not 2,000 years old....it is not a ruin by Roman standards.
Built of concrete and stone,[1] it was largest amphitheatre of the Roman Empire, and is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and engineering. It is the largest amphitheatre in the world.
The Colosseum seated 50,000 spectators,[6][7] and was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles such as mock sea battles, animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on Classical mythology.
The Roman Forum (Latin: Forum Romanum, Italian: Foro Romano) is a rectangular forum (plaza) surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome.  Back then, Rome was comprised of several villages.  The Forum served as a central meeting place for banking, trades and social activities.
