Our alarm went off at 0630.  We got up, dressed, went to operations for trip home.  6 people had checked in.  It looked good.  Show time was 0940.  About 0925 folks started coming in.  Roll call was at 0940.  30 seats firm...Linda and I were 31 & 32. KC135 took off for Birmingham, Al with 30 (firm) passengers on board.  Time for plan B.  The adventure continues.  After the flight left, we went to the base travel office and checked on possible excursions.  The agent suggested we go to Cardiff, Wales.  A pretty coastal town in the next country.  We had not been there, so we made plans to travel to Wales.

A Day in Germany Continues Part II

As was stated earlier, our plans were changed but we still had a great day. The clouds stated and a little light rain fell from the heavens.  Since the top of Germany wasn't happening for us today, our tour guides Jerry & Linda (my brother & sister-in-law) developed a change in plans.  They took us to Schloss Neuschwanstein (Cinderella Castle) for Pat and me to tour.
