City of Light Day 2 04-25-2012






Upon arrival at our hotel, we stored our luggage and began exploring Paris.  The days activities include the Eiffel Tower, a scenic boat ride on the Seine River, the Louvre and a gourmet meal in a Parisian restaurant.  The Escargot and Steak Tartar were to die for.  Linda, Dorothy and Amanda had  "croque monsier" for dinner.  It reminded me of a ham and cheese sandwich, but it was French ham and cheese. I did add a picture of Napoleon in Moscow.  Looks cold to me.

A Day in Germany Continues Part II

As was stated earlier, our plans were changed but we still had a great day. The clouds stated and a little light rain fell from the heavens.  Since the top of Germany wasn't happening for us today, our tour guides Jerry & Linda (my brother & sister-in-law) developed a change in plans.  They took us to Schloss Neuschwanstein (Cinderella Castle) for Pat and me to tour.
